At present I am based in a small fishing town called Brixham, in the south-west of England. I have lived and worked in many different parts of the country, includingLondon, as well as inSydney, Australia. In 1982 I established my own graphic design business inKent, in the south-east ofEngland, and there serviced numerous accounts. For one of these clients, The Royal British Legion, I designed and produced the annual brochure for visits to battlefields and war graves world-wide. For this publication I also undertook research and writing on historical and military subjects. It was this had me decide to take up writing and since then I have had published seven full length novels and two collections of ten short stories each. I no longer work in graphic design and have other business interests but intend to continue writing and never to retire. My wife and I have traveled much of the world but more often than anywhere else toItaly where we have stayed for our holiday in Viareggio, Florence, Venice, Siena, Cefalu, Lipari and many times in Rome.
